Most Human-Like Robot

Researchers from the University of Tokyo have made the most man like robot. It has muscles and bones and looks like the Terminator. It is 5 feet tall and weighs 110 pounds. He also has 160 artificial muscles through out his body.

New Wireless Card Reader


This small tablet like device is able to connect to your mobile device. By putting in a  camera SD card, you can wirelessly connect to your wireless device or computer. It can connect and send the pictures to the device so you dont have to use wires and possibly break it and have to spend your money to buy a new one. The battery lasts nine hours of use and is priced a little higher than $97 dollars.

Generator Turns Train Vibrations into Energy

With all the power outs from storms, especially Hurricane Sandy, causes generators to be very important. With 140,000 train tracks all over the nation, Stone Brook University found out a way to turn the vibrations into usable electricity. When the vibrations move the earth which the generator is on, it converts it into electricity. By installing 10,000 of these, all electrical bills lower by half a million.

Sony Struggles With Sales.

PSVita isn't getting as many sales as Sony had hoped. In fact, its nowhere near the expectations. Nintendo's 3DS though, is beating PSVita in sales 47 to 1 (187,077 to 5,021.) When it was first released, they sold 325,000 in the first week of sales, then dropped by 80% after. Sony hit a low sale, they haven't had in 32 years, their stocks dropped nearly 9% since they've hired a new chief in the company.

                                     Artificial Molecule Could Stop Allergic Reactions
 
 
    Some allergies such as a peanut allergy or a bee sting, could potentially hospitalize or kill the person allergic. People from Stanford University of Medicine has found something that should be able to stop severe allergic reactions, in seconds. When a regular allergen enters the body, the body creates a type of antibody, which stays in the body afterwards. When the same allergen enters the body, it binds with the antibody causing those cells to release inflammatory mediators, which causes a severe allergic reaction. Its called DARPin E2-79 and it contains a certain protein which stops the antibody.
