Why Some Facebook Users Believe they Should be Payed for Giving Personal Information
Most people feed facebook their personal informationsuch as their likes, dislikes, associates, politic and religious beliefs, and your relationship status, which are just some examples. Which gives advertisers many useful data on potential customers or clients.
Which is why two New York professors believe users should be payed for selling their information.
Their idea is if facebook gives them a monthly pay for their personal information,(also giving them the right to sell that information to advertisers) will be a "Win-Win" situation. Being that facebook would make much more money off of advertisers, for a small fee and the users would make profit off their favorite website.
