Artificial Molecule Could Stop Allergic Reactions

Some allergies such as a peanut allergy or a bee sting, could potentially hospitalize or kill the person allergic. People from Stanford University of Medicine has found something that should be able to stop severe allergic reactions, in seconds. When a regular allergen enters the body, the body creates a type of antibody, which stays in the body afterwards. When the same allergen enters the body, it binds with the antibody causing those cells to release inflammatory mediators, which causes a severe allergic reaction. Its called DARPin E2-79 and it contains a certain protein which stops the antibody.

Why Some Facebook Users Believe they Should be Payed for Giving Personal Information

Most people feed facebook their personal informationsuch as their likes, dislikes, associates, politic and religious beliefs, and your relationship status, which are just some examples. Which gives advertisers many useful data on potential customers or clients.

Which is why two New York professors believe users should be payed for selling their information.
Their idea is if facebook gives them a monthly pay for their personal information,(also giving them the right to sell that information to advertisers) will be a "Win-Win" situation. Being that facebook would make much more money off of advertisers, for a small fee and the users would make profit off their favorite website.

New "Apple Maps" Not Doing as Well as Apple has Hoped.
Recently, Apple came out with the new "Apple Maps" but it isn't doing very well and sadly, things aren't getting better anytime soon. Most mapping systems are built on huge sets of data that is constantly updating and optimizing but Apple's maps are older and much less optimized. Some examples are, telling you to go across a road closed for months, or telling you you've reached the freeway, which doesn't make users happy. Some problems will be fixed in iOS 6 but most are still stuck and won't be updated for a while.

What I did During the Summer

Mostly, my summer was mostly mediocre. Nothing was too exciting and I had no vacations this time. I played minecraft and did barely anything else, as there weren't many vacations.Click here to see.
I also usually went to go running, with my iPod.

Diigo

Diigo is a useful tool for education. This is because all you need to find something on the subject is look it up. If you need math, you type Math in and it shows relating to the subject. If you have something specific in math such as Square Root so you'd look it up and give you a much more specific answer. Then looking at the pages will help learn the subject.

Apple's New "Spaceship" Campus

Assumed to be finished by 2015, Apple has decided to create a "Spaceship" campus. It will cover 2.8 million square feet with its own power plant inside and it will also be covered with solar panels and house 13,000 people, also another 6,000 trees. It will be a four story research facility, not open to the public with over 1,000 seats. Though they will only be used for product unveiling. I think this is a huge project and will be done later than 2015.

App Store's Download Count Decreased Click Here for Full Article
Fiksu App Store Download Data
A recent study by Fiksu shows that since February, the daily count of app downloads has decreased by about 2 Million. Some people think the drop is from lack of apps that interest people. In my opinion people have just bought so many apps, the storage space has no more room. Also, top apps drop from the top because since everybody who has it and wants it can't buy it again since they already have it, they lose downloads.

Sony Releases Hardware Independent Play Station Games

Sony recently certified other system manufacturers compatible with "Play Station Suites" will allow Play Station games to be purchased and played there. So far though, the only ones currently running this are some of Sony's smartphones and tablets. I think this is a good idea because people who have Xbox or Wii instead of Play Station 3 and a game comes out they want they can buy and play it.

The show 'Spongebob' Causes Brain Damage In Children

Watching just a bit of the hit kids show 'Spongebob' can cause headaches to some people but psychologists show that its not only very annoying but can also cause brain damage in preschoolers and even kids slightly older. Angeline Lillard and Jennifer Peterson from Virginia's department of psychology wanted to test if it had immediate influence on kid's skills including attention, memory, problem solving and delay of gratification. They made a group of 60 4 year olds to three groups. One that watched nine minutes of fast paced show about an "entertaining sponge" one that watched a slower paced PBS show and another that was asked to draw. Afterwards they were asked to take four tests to check the effect. The ones who watched spongebob did significantly worse.

              Sony Tablet

Sony recently came out with something new called the Sony Tablet 2. It has two screen with optimized apps, sharp, bright dual screens. Those are only the pros though. The cons include: flimsy design, minuscule internet
capability, wild bezels and the optimized apps are limited. They probably made this to try to keep up with apple after its recently released IPad3. For Sony, this tablet isn't even close to being in the same league of tablets as the Ipad and possibly only as good or possibly worse than Verizon's Tablet.

have to be made much better to be up to par with Apple's new Ipad3. Some say its so good, it is becoming a
