Sony recently certified other system manufacturers compatible with "Play Station Suites" will allow Play Station games to be purchased and played there. So far though, the only ones currently running this are some of Sony's smartphones and tablets. I think this is a good idea because people who have Xbox or Wii instead of Play Station 3 and a game comes out they want they can buy and play it.

Sony Releases Hardware Independent Play Station Games
Sony recently certified other system manufacturers compatible with "Play Station Suites" will allow Play Station games to be purchased and played there. I think this is a good idea because people who have Xbox or Wii instead of Play Station 3 and a game comes out they want they can buy and play it.
